Effective Date: December 2025
1.1. All quotations provided by Raven Roofing Services are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. After this period, we reserve the right to re-quote based on current material costs.
1.2. A contract is formed when the client accepts the quotation either in writing (email/text) or verbally, and a start date is agreed upon.
2.1. Our quotation covers only the work specified. When stripping a roof, it is sometimes impossible to assess the condition of the underlying structure (rafters, wall plates, decking) until the old covering is removed.
2.2. If rotten timbers or structural defects are found, we will cease work immediately, inform you, and provide a separate quote for the necessary additional repairs. We will not cover up structural rot.
3.1. As a roofing company, our work is highly dependent on the weather. We reserve the right to delay or reschedule work if weather conditions (heavy rain, high winds, extreme frost) pose a safety risk or would compromise the quality of the installation (e.g., applying torch-on felt or fibreglass in the rain).
3.2. We will keep you informed of any schedule changes. We are not liable for delays caused by adverse weather.
4.1. For larger projects, a deposit may be required to cover the cost of materials before work commences.
4.2. Full payment is due immediately upon completion of the work and presentation of the invoice.
4.3. Ownership of materials used remains with Raven Roofing Services until the invoice is paid in full.
5.1. We provide a workmanship guarantee on all new roofs (details specified in your quote). This guarantee is valid only once full payment has been received.
5.2. Guarantees do not cover storm damage (Acts of God) or damage caused by third parties working on the roof.
6.1. The customer must ensure there is adequate access to the site for materials and scaffolding.
6.2. We advise customers to remove valuable items from the loft space or cover them, as some dust and debris may fall during re-roofing works.
